How should I prepare my files for print?

To ensure a quality image, printing is usually done in 300dpi, to ensure a good quality image. Items that are laid-out to border length are expected to have a “bleed” which means that the printed area goes approximately .25 inches over to allow the machines to cut according to the artwork intended border.
